Join‑In Tour Terms & Conditions

1. Pricing

All prices are subject to change without notice and do not include the driver’s gratuity. Gratuities may be paid directly to the driver at the guest’s discretion.

2. Reservations & Availability

Reservations are required and must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the requested pickup time. Availability is limited and reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

3. Pickup Locations

This “Join‑In” tour originates from participating Sonoma County hotels and vacation rentals, as well as the Sonoma County Airport SMART Train Station.

If you are not staying at one of the participating pickup locations, please select the “Alternate Location” option on the reservation form and enter the address where you would like to be picked up. We will review your request and confirm whether pickup is possible. Additional fees may apply depending on the location and distance from our standard routes.

4. Pickup Times

Pickup times vary depending on location and group size. Typical start times are between 10:30 AM and 11:30 AM. Once your reservation is accepted, you will receive a confirmation email with your approximate pickup time.

5. Vehicle Type

• SUVs are used for smaller groups.
• Mercedes Sprinter Vans are used for larger groups (up to 15 passengers).

Vehicle type is determined at the discretion of Grape Escapes management. Depending on the day’s reservations, your tour may include only your group or up to 15 total guests at full capacity.

6. Winery Tasting Fees

Each winery charges an individual tasting fee (typically $20–$30 per person). Tasting fees are not included in the tour price. We are actively partnering with wineries to offer discounted tasting rates or waived fees for guests who purchase wine during their visit.

7. Itinerary

The chauffeur will select the wineries and number of stops based on timing and availability. A typical tour includes 3–4 wineries and a picnic‑style lunch at one of the wineries.

8. Lunch

After your reservation is accepted, you will receive a link to Big John’s Market in Healdsburg to order your customizable gourmet box lunch. Only the advertised lunch is included in the tour price. Additional food and beverages may be purchased separately. Complimentary bottled water is provided for all guests.

9. Duration

The full tour experience lasts approximately 6–7 hours, from pickup to drop‑off.

10. Refunds & Cancellations

Grape Escapes does not offer refunds for Join‑In tours unless the cancellation is made at least 5 days prior to the scheduled tour date. Grape Escapes reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a tour due to adverse weather, fires, or other acts of nature. If Grape Escapes cancels your tour, you will receive a full refund on the credit card used for booking.

11. Conduct & Restrictions

Grape Escapes reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a tour for any guest whose behavior is disruptive or unsafe.

• Vaping, smoking, or chewing tobacco
• Illegal drugs or weapons
• Pets
• Aggressive or inappropriate conduct toward drivers or other guests

If your tour is terminated for violation of these policies, no refund will be issued, and you will be responsible for arranging alternate transportation (e.g., Uber or taxi).

12. Liability Waiver

By participating in a Grape Escapes tour, you acknowledge that wine tasting involves alcohol consumption and agree to drink responsibly. Grape Escapes is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from negligence, misconduct, or failure to comply with these terms.

13. Acceptance

By submitting your reservation form, you confirm that you are 21 years of age or older, have read and accepted all Terms & Conditions listed above, and understand that your reservation is not guaranteed until confirmed by Grape Escapes staff.
